About
Tortilla Flat is a one-of-a-kind, genuine historic site established in 1904 as a stage coach stop to supply the workers who hand built Roosevelt Dam. After the dam was completed in 1911 the residents stayed and it has turned into a business over the years. We offer a unique experience for our guests with a full-service restaurant (Superstition Saloon), mercantile with unique gifts and souvenirs from local artists, a country store with ice cream and homemade fudge, seasonal BBQ patio with live music and even a small museum with all of our towns history. We are 18 miles outside of Apache Junction in the Tonto National Forest and just a couple miles past Canyon Lake. We're open 7 days a week all year (except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day) from 10am to 6pm Monday through Friday and 8am to 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays. We have an amazing breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays only from 8am to 10:30am.
